Adam Shah is the Director of National Policy at Jobs With Justice. Workers’ rights have always been close to Adam’s heart because his parents met while organizing for better working conditions for themselves and their co-workers at New York City’s child protective services agency. Since coming to Washington, D.C. in 2000, Adam has worked for nonprofit organizations and federal government agencies including the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division and the U.S. Department of Labor Civil Rights Center. Adam received a B.A. from the University of Chicago and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. He and his wife live on Capitol Hill and are kept busy after hours by their three children.
