	National Take Affirmative Action Day Supporting efforts by campus and communities to stop the ongoing anti-affirmative action ballot initiatives in 2008.

	Sweat FreE SCHOOLS Though many colleges, universities, and even some high schools have adopted anti-sweatshop policies, the reality is that most school apparel is still made under sweatshop conditions in factories around the world.

	Campus Living Wage While tuition rises (and education becomes less accessible to the working class) and top university administrators earn heftier salaries, campus workers including janitorial staff, security guards, and graduate teaching assistants fail to earn livable wages.

	CAMPAIGN FOR FAIR FOOD UPDATE: CIW launches National Petition Campaign to end modern-day slavery, sweatshops in the fields! Much more than an e-campaign, this petition is a living, tangible organizing movement that we encourage our allies to bring to life in their own communities – in schools, churches, union halls, and community gatherings from Miami to Minneapolis, from New York to Los Angeles. We will turn in the petitions in a creative mass procession at Burger King headquarters in Miami later this spring.

	Farmworker Awarness week This week is a SAF-called, nation-wide week of action for students and community members to raise awareness about farmworker issues on their campuses and in their communities.
