How to Prevent and Combat Sexual Harassment in the Workplace

Join Jobs With Justice, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, and the National Women’s Law Center on Wednesday, March 7 at 5 pm est / 2 pm pst for a live conversation on how to prevent and combat sexual harassment in the workplace.

Jobs With Justice Executive Director Sarita Gupta, AFSCME President Lee Saunders, AFSCME Secretary Treasurer Elissa McBride, AFL-CIO Secretary Treasurer Liz Shuler and National Women’s Law Center president Fatima Goss Graves will be live for a conversation on a topic everyone is talking about: the pervasive harassment women face at work and the strategies to fight back. You’ll have a chance to ask questions and be part of the discussion.

The #MeToo movement has brought some much needed public attention to the subject of workplace sexual harassment. Unions have long been at the forefront in the fight for equality on the job — including an end to the culture of pervasive harassment.

This is an opportunity to get answers and advice on dealing with and preventing sexual harassment in the workplace, your rights on the job, and our fight for equality in the workplace.
