Come show solidarity for our Teamsters friends who work for Oak Harbor Freight Lines. They are into the 12th week of a tough strike and are protesting Oak Harbor's violations of U.S. labor laws and hostile efforts by the company to intimidate workers. Cleveland-based KeyBank is the principal banker for Oak Harbor. KeyBank is playing a crucial role in the dispute by keeping this renegade company afloat. And yet, the government is considering giving a $2.5 billion in taxpayer money to KeyBank. Join us as we inform the public and tell KeyBank to stop bank rolling union busting! *WA Seattle Jobs with Justice 12/13/2008 1pm Washington state Convention Center (7th & Pike St) Join us in the streets of Seattle on Saturday, December 13th to commemorate International Human Rights day. Bring your organization, friends, and enthusiasm to build towards a people's economy. This year we march towards creating homes for everyone, jobs for jobless, and money education, health, and social services. The 25th article of the Declaration guarantees all people the right to a home regardless of the challenges they face. People from the Philippines to Palestine, Chicago to Seattle, are constantly pushed out of their homes by economic injustice. Helene Lustan; helene@wsjwj.org Philippine U.S. Solidarity Organization
